Become a Lay Member for the Clinical Policies Forum (CPF)
The CPF is looking for someone to help them improve local health care.
The CPF is part of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). They meet regularly to discuss how to meet the health care needs of people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough within limited resources.
The CPF is looking for someone who can represent the views of local people and take a broad view of local community health care needs. They would like someone who is confident about expressing their opinions and who can cope with possible public unhappiness with some of the decisions they may make as a CPF member. A CPF lay member would also need the ability to understand the complex issues within the NHS.
There are no specific qualifications for the role, however, any lay member would need to be able to work flexibly, have excellent communication skills and a desire to make a difference.
Please see the CPF Lay Member job description for more information and details on how to apply.
