What are the workshops about?
Know Your Rights: We will talk about rights in hospital and how to get good health care. It is free and open for people with learning disabilities, family carers and supporters. We will be talking about reasonable adjustments, watching videos and you can share your hospital experiences.
Campaign workshops: This will focus on training you in how to campaign for better healthcare for people with a learning disability in your local hospital. The Campaigns workshop is where you can learn about what campaigning means and if you are interested in the Treat Me Well campaign, we can work with your local hospital trust to make things better. We want lots of ideas about how we can campaign together!
