Assess an online toolkit to help relatives of people with Psychosis or Bipolar Disorder - Ends 30 August 2017

Carers and relatives needed to help assess this peer support toolkit.

Relatives Education and Coping Toolkit (REACT) is an online peer-support toolkit for relatives and carers of people with psychosis or bipolar disorder.  It contains lots of information to help you, including strategy ideas to manage problems and stories about other people's experiences.

This research study is to see the effectiveness of REACT on reducing your distress. If you join the study, you will be asked some online questions about your experiences.

You will randomly be allocated by a computer to receive either:
  • the REACT online intervention, which includes access to a resource directory, or
  • the resource directory ONLY.

After 12 and 24 weeks you will be asked the same online questions again.

All participants must be 16 or over, have internet access and are able to understand written and verbal English.

For more information or to register for the study,  please visit http://www.reacttoolkit.co.uk

or

Contact the REACT Team on react@lancaster.ac.uk
