Get patients involved with the help of our Patient Participation Group toolkit

Establishing an effective Patient Participation Group (PPG) allows people to get involved with their local GP surgery and help to improve care.

Such groups provide a platform for patients to deliver meaningful feedback on the services a GP surgery offers and give useful suggestions for developing care.

Our PPG toolkit is designed to help practices set up a PPG. We have recently reviewed and updated its content, which draws on the experience of existing PPGs across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, as well as support that is available nationally.

It includes suggestions about recruiting members, how a PPG works, and activities that PPGs can get involved in to shape local services.
