This meeting had presentations and discussions on:

  • Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Public Health Joint Strategic Needs Assessment on Healthy Places
  • An update from Cambridgeshire County Council on the future of how health and social care services are delivered to people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism in Cambridgeshire
  • Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Outpatients Strategy

6th March 2025

The key issue discussed at the meeting had been the changes in Cambridgeshire to the management of the Learning Disability Partnership. This is where social care and health work together to support people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

The County Council and the local NHS are changing the way this is managed. This meeting focussed on concerns by people with learning disabilities and/or autism and their carers’ and how these changes are being communicated to them.
