Carers Partnership Board Minutes April 2021 to March 2022

This meeting looked at 'hidden carers' and how to identify and better support them.  We also had a presentation on the Direct Payment Support Service in Peterborough.

This meeting learnt about the Think Communities initiative from Cambridgeshire County and Peterborough City Councils.  It also had a presentation and discussion on the Older People's Accommodation Needs Assessment.

The main subject of discussion at this meeting was the national survey of Adult Carers.

At this meeting we had an update from the providers of the All-Age Carers Service, Caring Together, Centre 33 and Making Space.

This meeting heard about the Carers Strategy which is about to be reviewed. The Partnership Board discussed how Carers would be involved in all aspects of the review.

This meeting had a presentation and discussion on the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital.
