We're here ... and we're listening

It's business as usual for Healthwatch says CEO Sandie Smith. And it's more important than ever for local people to tell us how their health and care has been affected during the coronavirus crisis.
Healthwatch CEO Sandie urges people to share their health and care experiences of the last six weeks

Health and care in our area has changed significantly over the last six weeks, says Sandie. So we want to hear what the impact has been on local people since the lockdown began.

Sandie also talks about the Healthwatch Information Service and how it can help people navigate the service changes.

Don't delay getting help from your GP or A & E

Sandie also voices concern over fewer people going for appointments or attending local A & E departments since the pandemic started.

And she urges people to get help from their surgery or local hospital if they have a medical need.
