What You Told Us This Spring: Local Health and Care Feedback (April–June 2025)
Between April and June this year, 659 people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough shared their experiences of local health and care services with us. Thank you to everyone who got in touch—your feedback helps us raise concerns, highlight good practice, and push for better care across the system.

The Most Talked-About Services
- Primary care generated the most feedback (317 cases). Nearly half (48%) was negative—mainly about long waits, phone access, and online booking.
- Hospital services (181 cases) saw more mixed views. A third of comments were positive, particularly around planned care.
- Mental health and learning disabilities (70 cases) raised ongoing concerns, especially around delays and follow-up.
- Community health (15 cases) received a more balanced mix of feedback.
- Patient transport and social care had the highest levels of negative feedback (65% and 69%).
Themes People Raised
Across all services:
- Access (352 cases) and admin (346) were the biggest issues—over half the comments were negative.
- Treatment and care (494 cases) had a more balanced picture, with a third of feedback being positive.
- Digital access (33 cases) was often a barrier, particularly for older people or those unfamiliar with online tools.
Conditions and Experiences
- Mental health (57 cases) and autism (16) were common topics, with most feedback being negative.
- Dental treatment stood out—79% of 33 cases were negative.
- Physical disability and sensory impairment also raised concerns, including problems accessing support.

- Cambridge University Hospitals NHS FT (CUH) – 74 cases, 53% negative
- North West Anglia NHS FT – 65 cases, 52% negative
- CPFT – 24 cases, 63% negative (mental health services)
- General dental enquiries – 30 cases, 93% negative
