Carers Partnership Board Minutes April 2020 to March 2021

5 May 2020

This was our first online meeting at the start of the pandemic.  One of the key issues we talked about was the impact of the 'lockdown' was having on carers, sources of support and staying postive.

28 July 2020

This meeting had a presentation on the Direct Payment Support Service in Cambridgeshire.  The Partnership Board members also looked at some of the positive things that had happened in delivery of services during the pandemic.

8 September 2020

This meeting had a discussion with Commissioners from Peterborough City and Cambridgeshire County Council's about a vision for Domiciliary Care.  There was also a presentation from the providers of the All Age Carers Service in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (Caring Together, Centre 33 and Making Space).

17 November 2020

This meeting had a presentation on the Discharge (from hospital) to Assessment scheme. This ensure that people's immediate support needs would be met once they left hospital, along with plans in place to review the support needed.  This was designed to speed up people leaving hospital and reduce delayed transfers of care. 

12 January 2021

This meeting had a presentation on the accessibility of GP websites.  This was a project that had been carried out by our Healthwatch to support GP practices in improving access for all patients using their services.

16 March 2021

This meeting had a presentation, and discussion, on day opportunities commissioned by the two Councils.
